About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Directly manage a team of Deployment Engineers and/or Security Solution Engineers — SIEM/SOAR through active daily oversight
- Serve as a strong hands-on technical resource for complex deployments
- Coordinate with the Project Manager to prioritize incoming deployment requests based on team capacity, customer urgency, and skillset
- Own team delivery metrics — go-live timelines, concurrent deployment capacity, and content coverage
- Conduct regular 1:1s, performance reviews, and career development conversations
- Identify and remove blockers affecting deployment timelines
- Collaborate with the Director to refine team processes, tooling, and onboarding playbooks
Requirements
What you’ll need- 5+ years in technical roles (SIEM deployment, content engineering, or similar) with 2+ years in people management
- Hands-on proficiency with Google SecOps and/or Microsoft Sentinel
- Experience managing deployment pipelines and customer onboarding workflows
- Strong project coordination skills; comfortable triaging competing priorities alongside a Project Manager
- Experience developing and maintaining technical runbooks and deployment playbooks
- Demonstrated ability to both mentor engineers and directly contribute to complex technical work
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent practical experience)
- Relevant certifications such as CISSP, CISM, GIAC certifications, Google Cloud Professional, Microsoft SC-200/AZ-500, or AWS Certified Solutions Architect are a plus
