About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Oversee the integration of new providers and practices, practice acquisitions, practice expansions, hospitalist programs, and practice closures
- Establish and maintain standard implementation processes for practices affiliated with Tenet Practice Resources
- Coordinate provider enrollment, HR, IT infrastructure, hardware and software, revenue cycle management, compliance, and quality management efforts
- Provide subject matter expertise and lead the integration of providers into the health service organization
- Establish working relationships among hospital Administrative Teams, Tenet Practice Resources, and newly hired physicians or physicians in acquired or new practices
- Provide project management oversight for physician and practice transitions into or out of Tenet Practice Resources
- Manage equipment, computers, software, real estate, and replacement needs to align with TPR standards and practices
- Oversee physician and practice offboarding, expansions, and relocations
- Serve as the initial point of contact for practice or regional transactions
- Hold weekly meetings with the onboarding team and interested parties
- Brief the National Director on transitions and potential issues
- Provide physicians and practices with transition steps, timelines, required documents, signatures, and tasks
- Ensure transitions are compliant and successful
- Ensure required licensures and approved exceptions are in place by the go-live date
- Ensure provider credentialing paperwork is submitted on time
- Maintain progress reports, monitor transition timelines, and track provider status
- Communicate transition completion to operational and financial departments
- Lead first-year physician and practice marketing activities, including profiles, websites, entity formation, advertising, referral lists, Press Ganey inclusion, and directory management
- Work with other departments to improve transition-process efficiency
- Investigate and attempt to resolve communication or process issues affecting provider transitions
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor’s Degree in Business or related field
- Practice Management experience required
- Extensive experience may be considered in lieu of the education requirement
- 3 years of experience managing multi-specialty medical practices
- Experience coordinating provider enrollment, HR, IT, revenue cycle management, compliance, and quality management
- Ability to manage provider and practice transitions, acquisitions, expansions, closures, offboarding, and relocations
- Knowledge of provider credentialing and required operational licensures
- Ability to track transition timelines, provider status, documentation, and departmental communication
- Ability to coordinate weekly onboarding meetings and brief the National Director
- Ability to support physician and practice marketing activities and directory management
- Ability to investigate and resolve communication or process issues
