About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Manages and/or participates in Clinical Documentation related projects.
Responsible for all related management aspects of the Market CDI program.
Oversees internal projects to ensure provision of timely, accurate, and compliant recommendations.
Supervises, coaches, evaluates, and counsels Clinical Documentation Specialists.
Responsible for improving overall quality and completeness of clinical documentation.
Facilitates interactions with physicians or medical staff departments to ensure completeness.

Requirements

What you’ll need

Graduate of an accredited school of Nursing, AHIMA accredited school, United States, or International School of Medicine.
5+ years in healthcare related field with strong clinical expertise and acumen.
Ability to travel nationally up to 50% is required. Selected candidates will be required to pass Motor Vehicle Record check.
Bachelor’s degree in nursing, HIM, or healthcare related field.
Previous leadership experience with demonstrated ability to work effectively in time sensitive environment across multiple levels of the organization.
CCDS or CDIP, CCS.
