About the role
- Proactively source candidates through various channels, including online job boards, professional networking sites, and physician databases.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with physician candidates, hospital leadership, and other key stakeholders.
- The physician recruiter will work to meet the physician development strategies and goals identified in the Manpower Plan.
- Manage the full recruitment cycle, ensuring a positive candidate experience and timely communication throughout the process.
- Conduct thorough candidate screenings, including verifying credentials, and checking references.
- Maintain accurate records of recruitment activities and track key metrics, such as time-to-fill and candidate pipeline.
- Stay current on industry trends, recruitment best practices, and relevant regulations.
- Contribute to the development and implementation of recruitment marketing strategies.
- Work closely with the onboarding and operations team to ensure a smooth transition for new physician hires.
Requirements
- Required: Bachelor’s degree in related field or equivalent experience.
- Required: 3 years medical recruiting experience or similar experience with proven track record of success. Must have comprehensive understanding of medical industry, physician market, and medical specialties. Excellent verbal and written communication skills, strong motivational and leadership skills, ability to work successfully within a matrix organization, excellent interpersonal and team-building skills, knowledge of full life cycle recruiting process and recruiting strategy from sourcing to closing and signing candidates.
