Key responsibilities & impact

Insatiable desire to eliminate toil by building tooling or automating away repetitive tasks or building cloud native solutions that will proactively mitigate problems before they arise
Collaborate closely with fellow engineers, studios representatives while maintaining a strong working relationship based on trust, respect and empathy
Design and implement new technical product solutions with the SRE team and various stakeholders
Analyze, research and document new technical solutions to meet the needs of Tencent Games

Requirements

What you’ll need

Working towards a Bachelor’s, Master’s or PhD in computer science, software engineering, computer engineering and a strong record of academic achievement with an anticipated graduation date in Fall 2026 or Spring of 2027
Fluent in one or more programming languages (e.g. Go, Python, Java, C++ , etc)
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Highly motivated, self-learner, and technically inquisitive
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Strong interest in developing cloud native engineering skills
Familiar with Linux and Container Schedulers (Kubernetes) is a plus
Experience with online computer / mobile / console games is a plus
Experiences with AI technologies is a plus
