About the role

  • Grow and maintain an established territory through relationship marketing to independent clinics, long-term care facilities, and rural health facilities, while exploring new market opportunities.
  • Act as a liaison between TEN Healthcare and clients, ensuring effective communication and delivering information that will contribute to the success of their pathology and/or toxicology testing programs.
  • Keep up to date with the latest pathology and toxicology data and research to engage in meaningful discussions with clients about industry trends and innovations.
  • Meet weekly goals for decision-maker contacts, scheduled appointments, new business cold calls, and maintenance calls.
  • Take ownership of prospecting new business and managing existing accounts within the territory.
  • Define market demographics, perform competitor analysis, and develop strategies to capture new business and retain existing clients.
  • Ensure compliance with healthcare industry regulations and standards while managing customer accounts.
  • Submit travel and expense reports according to company policies. Maintain communication with your supervisor and provide updates on account statuses, sales progress, and challenges.

Requirements

  • Valid Driver’s License
  • Strong Written & Verbal Communication Skills: Able to communicate effectively and confidently with clients and team members.
  • Strategic Planning & Organizational Skills: Ability to prioritize and manage time effectively to meet sales goals and deadlines.
  • Flexibility & Adaptability: Willingness to adjust to changes in products and the healthcare environment.
  • Sales Experience: 2-3 years of industry-related sales experience, with healthcare experience preferred.
  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in a related field is preferred, though not required.
  • Negotiation Skills: Strong ability to negotiate and close sales deals.
