About the role
- Grow and maintain an established territory through relationship marketing to independent clinics, long-term care facilities, and rural health facilities, while exploring new market opportunities.
- Act as a liaison between TEN Healthcare and clients, ensuring effective communication and delivering information that will contribute to the success of their pathology and/or toxicology testing programs.
- Keep up to date with the latest pathology and toxicology data and research to engage in meaningful discussions with clients about industry trends and innovations.
- Meet weekly goals for decision-maker contacts, scheduled appointments, new business cold calls, and maintenance calls.
- Take ownership of prospecting new business and managing existing accounts within the territory.
- Define market demographics, perform competitor analysis, and develop strategies to capture new business and retain existing clients.
- Ensure compliance with healthcare industry regulations and standards while managing customer accounts.
- Submit travel and expense reports according to company policies. Maintain communication with your supervisor and provide updates on account statuses, sales progress, and challenges.
Requirements
- Valid Driver’s License
- Strong Written & Verbal Communication Skills: Able to communicate effectively and confidently with clients and team members.
- Strategic Planning & Organizational Skills: Ability to prioritize and manage time effectively to meet sales goals and deadlines.
- Flexibility & Adaptability: Willingness to adjust to changes in products and the healthcare environment.
- Sales Experience: 2-3 years of industry-related sales experience, with healthcare experience preferred.
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in a related field is preferred, though not required.
- Negotiation Skills: Strong ability to negotiate and close sales deals.
