About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Develop and Drive global account strategy in coordination with our scientific and business operations teams
- Meet and exceed revenue goals for Tempus Dx and CRO product lines at the account while delivering on established strategic objectives for specific client accounts
- Build and maintain executive and R&D relationships & drive our CXO strategy leveraging Tempus senior leadership
- Negotiate, secure and manage pull-through of contracts with assigned client accounts
- Partner with our clients to develop and announce impactful case studies leveraging the Tempus Dx and CRO platforms to advance precision medicine
- Track progress against defined strategic objectives and revenue goals; review progress/setbacks frequently with broader Account Team and Tempus Leadership
Requirements
What you’ll need- Minimum of 10 years of experience in Business Development and Sales within the Life Sciences sector
- Bachelor's degree in a Science or Business discipline; Advanced degree (MBA, PhD or Healthcare certification) desired
- Proven ability to navigate multi-faceted client organizations with repeated success
- Strong knowledge of the drug and diagnostic regulatory approval processes, both in the U.S. and internationally
- Deep understanding of clinical trial design, execution, and timelines
- Demonstrated ability to build trust and credibility with clients, acting as a strategic advisor
- Proven success in negotiating and closing large, complex, multi-year agreements
