About the role
- Serves as liaison between cross-functional support for regional sales, with marketing, training, operations, and finance.
- Supports Regional Sales Director and National Account Managers to drive share, planning, marketing programs and other sales initiatives.
- Supports National Account Managers (NAMs) in the creation of product line recommendations, rollout strategies, and competitive intelligence for the Team.
- Develops marketing plans and products to support North Key Account opportunities with the guidance of the RSD.
- Analyzes retail advertising within the Account's major trading areas and develops conclusions/recommendations for the RSD.
- Helps Account Managers analyze CO-OP spend and tracking through third-party providers (Numerator).
- Participates in account support for large rollouts/growth expansion.
- Attends/participates in internal Quarterly Business Reviews.
- Assists in the development of regional rollout meetings, major dealer presentations and annual budget planning.
Requirements
- BA/BS Degree is required
- Minimum of 5 - 7 years sales experience in consumer products environment required
- Minimum of 2 years as a Senior Territory Manager preferred
- Career background in bedding, furniture, or premium consumer durables sales with account buy call responsibility.
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office suite or equivalent
- Expert level in Excel
- Unwavering personal integrity and ability to build relationships based on trust and respect
- Ability to confront reality in assessing business performance and opportunities
- Ability to listen and desire to learn
- Excellent problem-solving skills
- Organized, good communication skills both orally and in writing
