About the role

  • Serves as liaison between cross-functional support for regional sales, with marketing, training, operations, and finance.
  • Supports Regional Sales Director and National Account Managers to drive share, planning, marketing programs and other sales initiatives.
  • Supports National Account Managers (NAMs) in the creation of product line recommendations, rollout strategies, and competitive intelligence for the Team.
  • Develops marketing plans and products to support North Key Account opportunities with the guidance of the RSD.
  • Analyzes retail advertising within the Account's major trading areas and develops conclusions/recommendations for the RSD.
  • Helps Account Managers analyze CO-OP spend and tracking through third-party providers (Numerator).
  • Participates in account support for large rollouts/growth expansion.
  • Attends/participates in internal Quarterly Business Reviews.
  • Assists in the development of regional rollout meetings, major dealer presentations and annual budget planning.

Requirements

  • BA/BS Degree is required
  • Minimum of 5 - 7 years sales experience in consumer products environment required
  • Minimum of 2 years as a Senior Territory Manager preferred
  • Career background in bedding, furniture, or premium consumer durables sales with account buy call responsibility.
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office suite or equivalent
  • Expert level in Excel
  • Unwavering personal integrity and ability to build relationships based on trust and respect
  • Ability to confront reality in assessing business performance and opportunities
  • Ability to listen and desire to learn
  • Excellent problem-solving skills
  • Organized, good communication skills both orally and in writing
  • Personally dynamic with a strong work ethic
