About the role
- To manage and build strong working relationships with retail and specialist customers.
- Implement sales and marketing initiatives which develop new and existing business.
- Act as an escalation point for our retail customers in the event of any issues, responding promptly and accurately and keeping them in the loop at all times.
- Promote stock and marketing offers to maximise sales growth.
- Maintain accurate stock records, including stock information which is used to generate re-stocking orders with retailers.
- Train and motivate retailer sales staff.
- Identify and promote opportunities to increase sales.
- Increase turnover and profitability.
Requirements
- Account Management and/or Sales experience within a retail environment possessing the ability to achieve sales targets.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently.
- Strong relationship building and communications skills.
- Ability to learn and understand the products and services offered by TEMPUR Australia.
