About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

The Solutions Architect is Temporal’s primary customer-facing technical leader within the Enterprise team (East).
Work directly with prospects and customers, guiding teams through technical evaluation, architecture, and implementation considerations.
Help customers successfully adopt and expand production usage of Temporal over time.
Partner closely with Account Executives to support both land and expand motions.
Own key technical relationships and help position Temporal against alternative technologies and architectural patterns.

Requirements

What you’ll need

Reside within the Eastern time zone (United States)
Exceptional technical communication skills, including presenting, whiteboarding, and writing.
Deep understanding of distributed system technologies, design principles, and best practices.
Proficiency in building application prototypes and providing design, development, build, and deployment guidance using one or more of Temporal’s supported languages: Java, Golang, TypeScript, Python, C# or PHP.
Strong grasp of operational considerations in production environments, such as security, reliability, performance, cost management, and operations.
Ability to provide clear guidance on architectural topics, including application patterns and platform architectures.
Experience with at least one major cloud provider and familiarity with commonly used application development and production services.
Ability to serve as a strategic technical advisor to Sales Account Executives, helping scope opportunities, identify technical risks, and navigate complex evaluations.
