About the role
- Set Product Strategy & Vision
- Define and drive a cohesive product strategy for Tempo’s capacity planning and time tracking solutions, aligning customer needs with business goals and long-term portfolio strategy.
- Own Roadmaps Across Product Lines
- Lead end-to-end roadmap ownership for multiple products, balancing innovation, technical investment, and customer value while ensuring strong alignment with company priorities.
- Be the Voice of the Customer
- Maintain deep customer empathy through regular customer conversations, discovery sessions, feedback analysis, and usability testing — ensuring solutions solve real, complex problems at scale.
- Deliver Solution-Based Value
- Partner across product, engineering, design, sales, and marketing to deliver integrated, solution-oriented offerings that connect time, capacity, cost, and execution insights.
- Analytics & Insights Leadership
- Drive the evolution of analytics and reporting capabilities that help customers make better planning and delivery decisions, partnering closely with engineering to bring new capabilities to market.
- Cross-Product Collaboration
- Work with other Product Managers to optimize cross-sell opportunities and ensure consistent, high-quality experiences across Tempo’s product ecosystem.
- Go-to-Market Partnership
- Support go-to-market efforts by shaping positioning, value propositions, and customer narratives for new capabilities and major launches.
Requirements
- 10+ years of product management experience, with at least 5 years leading complex or multi-product portfolios.
- Able to think holistically about how time tracking, capacity planning, and adjacent products work together to deliver customer and business value.
- You prioritize customer outcomes and are comfortable engaging directly with users, from ICs to enterprise leaders.
- Experience in work management, capacity planning, portfolio management, or time tracking products — with strong familiarity in the Atlassian ecosystem (Jira, Confluence).
- Comfortable leveraging analytics, insights, and AI/ML concepts to inform product decisions and unlock new value for customers.
- A strong communicator who can align and inspire cross-functional teams without relying on authority alone.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field. MBA or advanced degree is a plus.
