About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Achievement of sales targets in the territory assigned
- Implementation of the sales strategies set out by the management
- Drive the sales cycle from initial contact to the signing of the deal
- Maintain good client relationships
- Participate in market analysis and relationship building with senior management and key opinion leaders in banking and financial services sectors
- Start and manage the full new logo sales cycle
- Negotiate or assist in negotiations on sales and service agreements
- Assist in market research and build prospective client profiles
- Establish and nurture relationships with C-level clients, business partners, and industry affiliates
- Build and manage a strong sales pipeline, accurately tracking quarterly forecasts and revenue
Requirements
What you’ll need- Proven track record of new sales and achievement of sales targets in the banking and financial sectors
- Substantial relevant experience within the same domain
- Able to deal with people at all levels within an organization
- Good understanding of banking operations and relevant processes (front, middle, back office)
- Thorough understanding of IT processes and implementations
- University education in relevant business disciplines, preferably with a post-graduate degree.
- Effective communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills
- International exposure and ability to be deployed across the territory
