About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Design, develop, and deliver scalable, high-quality software solutions across the full SDLC
- Contribute to architecture and technical design decisions, ensuring performance, scalability, and maintainability
- Collaborate with Product Owners and stakeholders to translate requirements into technical solutions
- Write clean, efficient, and well-tested code in line with engineering best practices
- Participate in code reviews, testing, and continuous integration processes to ensure quality delivery
- Support end-to-end development including design, build, testing, deployment, and production support
- Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues across applications and environments
- Contribute to development of APIs, microservices, and modern application architectures
- Ensure adherence to version control and release management processes (e.g. Git, CI/CD pipelines)
- Contribute to UI/UX improvements where relevant, ensuring strong user experience
- Work within an Agile environment, contributing to sprint planning, estimation, and delivery
Requirements
What you’ll need- Proven experience as a Senior Software Engineer within a product or SaaS environment
- Strong hands-on development experience (e.g. Java, microservices, APIs, cloud platforms)
- Solid understanding of software engineering principles, design patterns, and system design
- Experience delivering across the full SDLC including testing and deployment
- Experience working in Agile environments (exposure to SAFe beneficial)
- Strong understanding of version control, CI/CD, and DevOps practices
- Experience with testing frameworks and quality engineering approaches
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to analyse and optimise existing systems
- Good understanding of modern UI/UX principles (nice to have)
