Director of Sales – Partner Solutions

About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- You will lead a sales team using a consultative approach aligned with the guiding principles of our commercial organization
- Through supportive, structured coaching, you will help your team optimize cross-selling strategies by asking relevant questions and relying on active listening to identify clients’ real needs and opportunities to create value
- You will develop balanced commercial plans that combine short-term wins with sustainable growth across TELUS’s full range of products and services
- By leveraging data and AI tools, you will refine the commercial strategy, cultivate trust-based partnerships, and hold candid conversations about performance and development while addressing challenges with empathy and accountability
Requirements
What you’ll need- Minimum 5 years of experience building and coaching high-performing B2B sales teams (consultative approach)
- At least 10 years of experience selling IT and telecommunications solutions, with a proven track record in cross-selling
- Demonstrated ability to advance team members and support their career progression
- Ability to adapt your management style, defuse tensions, and deliver results in ambiguous contexts
- Proven experience engaging with senior executives at large enterprises and collaborating effectively with cross-functional teams (Product, Marketing, Finance, Customer Experience)
- Recognized planning and decision-making skills focused on profitable, sustainable growth
- Proficiency with generative AI, CRM systems, sales analytics tools, and strong active listening
- Advanced English proficiency required
