About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Supporting the Controller with monthly and quarterly financial and KPI reporting and analysis, including consolidation of Segmented and Business unit results
- Produce, collaborate on and present deep-dive analyses to drive operational insights and opportunities, with clear ‘so-what’ takeaways for senior leadership
- Assist with external reporting requirements, including helping prepare and provide support for external disclosure materials and assisting with Investor Relations queries
- Produce ad hoc financial models and competitive comparison analysis
- Proactively seek opportunities for deselection, automation and simplification
- Build strong relationships with stakeholders from all levels
Requirements
What you’ll need- 5+ years of progressive work experience in accounting and/or finance-related positions with increasing scope and responsibility
- Completion of a professional accounting designation (CPA)
- Capable of real-time problem solving with strong time management, prioritization skills, and consistent technical accuracy across multiple deadlines
- Proficiency with Google and/or MS Office Suite
- Advanced Excel and Access to build complex IF type of statements, code macros and VBA
- Strong knowledge of International Financial Reporting Standards
- Working knowledge of SAP, Hyperion, BW and FDM
