Requirements
A Master’s degree in Counselling, Psychology, or Social Work.
Current registration in good standing with your licensing body or professional association.
Valid professional liability insurance coverage.
Minimum of 5 years post-graduate counselling experience across diverse populations.
Strong skills in short-term goal setting and solution-focused counselling approaches.
Confidence in managing high-risk cases, including clients at risk of harm to self or others.
Experience working with individuals, couples, and families, and familiarity with local community resources.
A professionally maintained private office for in-person sessions.
Licensed Clinical Social Worker or Counselling Therapist (as applicable).
Ability to operate as an independent contractor/private practice provider.
May be subject to Personnel Security Screening if role requires Data Center access.
Must be fully vaccinated for COVID-19 to join TELUS Health Care Centres (where required).
