About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Lead by example as a culture ambassador, partnering with business leaders and internal groups to drive change and proactively manage impacts to team members
- Provide day-to-day coaching and guidance across performance improvement, ER issues, conflict resolution, compensation, payroll, engagement, development, and career development
- Support high-impact annual P&C programs including performance management, compensation planning, engagement initiatives, and succession planning
- Collaborate with technical teams, vendors, and internal stakeholders to scope, implement, and drive consistent adoption of P&C programs across the organization
- Liaise with Centres of Expertise to foster ONE team culture and drive the evolution of our P&C business and governance
- Support and participate in large-scale people projects with the Manager of P&C, including integration of acquired businesses across the APAC region
- Help transform HR analytics into powerful business insights and provide the Manager of P&C with compelling, data-driven recommendations
Requirements
What you’ll need- Minimum 4+ years in a People & Culture or mid to senior role within a large, complex matrix organization
- Hands-on experience leading business units through annual P&C programs including performance management, compensation planning, employee engagement, and HR governance
- Strong data analysis and critical thinking capabilities with experience delivering compelling presentations to all levels of stakeholders
- Proficiency in Microsoft and Google Workspace with adaptability to internal systems
- Self-directed professional with strong conceptual thinking and proven ability to translate strategy into action through periods of complex organizational change
- Ability to build trust, influence without authority, and navigate complex organizational politics with strong emotional intelligence, sound judgement, and cultural awareness
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills with comfort presenting to all levels of the organization
- Current knowledge of Australian Government Fair Work requirements, employment law, and HR best practices
- Post-secondary degree in Business Administration, Human Resources, or related field
