About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Develop 'big ideas' that evolve the Optik TV value proposition
- Conduct research to ground value propositions in customer needs
- Build a unified 'TELUS Entertainment' narrative with peers
- Ensure product solutions are easy to sell
- Influence next generation of flexible entertainment packaging
- Aid in designing exceptional customer decision journeys
- Provide recommendations on pricing structures
- Lead integrated long-term and quarterly planning cycles
- Ensure effective introduction and integration of new products
Requirements
What you’ll need- 5+ years of experience in marketing strategy, product marketing, or commercial strategy, ideally within the telecommunications or entertainment sectors
- Strategic Storytelling: able to translate complex product features into compelling value propositions
- Commercial Acumen: deep understanding of market positioning and financial trade-offs
- Collaborative Influence: comfortable challenging the status quo and building consensus between teams
- Leadership & Communication Skills: ability to present strategies to cross-functional stakeholders
- Data-Driven Mindset: comfortable translating sales data and customer research into actionable strategies
