- Principal, Strategic Finance & Portfolio Analytics sits at the epicenter of investment and portfolio teams
- Provide CFO-level financial analysis and strategic guidance for multimillion-dollar investment decisions
- Lead financial performance optimization across 75+ portfolio companies and implement governance frameworks
- Develop financial intelligence, market analysis, and strategic insights to drive investment strategy
- Craft internal and external stakeholder communications and serve as liaison with portfolio companies and investors
- Lead digital finance transformation and implementation of finance tools across funds and geographies
- Design scalable operational frameworks and develop advanced portfolio monitoring and predictive analytics
- Own finance, reporting, governance, budgets, cash requirements, returns, and shareholdings
- Support portfolio companies on value creation, scaling operations, and tracking key business metrics
Requirements
- 7-10 years progressive finance experience with 3 years in senior finance/accounting leadership
- Technology environment or investment management background essential
- MBA, CFA, or CPA designation(s)
- Demonstrated expertise in financial analytics and advanced driver-based modeling
- Proven ability to excel in both corporate landscapes and startup ecosystems
- Experience with CRM, deal flow, portfolio management tools, and data analytics platforms (iLevel, Affinity, Looker)
- Deep understanding of financial and operational drivers affecting technology companies
- Ability to coordinate multiple simultaneous projects across geographies
- Exceptional financial modeling, research, and presentation skills
- Entrepreneurial ownership mentality and process improvement focus
- Outstanding collaboration and influencing skills across global teams
