About the role

  • Own customer relationships, territories and account strategies.
  • Grow/maintain revenue and develop new business opportunities.
  • Champion TELUS Agriculture and Consumer Goods within customer organizations while advocating internally for them.
  • Partner with an interdependent account team as needed.
  • Demonstrate key sales competencies such as Business Acumen, Critical Thinking, Customer Focus, Grit (Energy and Drive), and Teamwork/Collaboration.
  • Prepare professional proposals targeted to the key decision makers that communicate TELUS’ best-in-class solutions.
  • Negotiate contracts, initiating orders, and pursuing new business.

Requirements

  • Approximately 8-10 years of experience in direct sales.
  • Knowledge of the broader Agribusiness and emerging technology marketplace.
  • Experience in complex solution environments.
  • Demonstrate business and technical acumen, effectively identifying and communicating financially sound TELUS solutions.
  • Proven track record of fostering strong, trust-based relationships.
  • Strong customer understanding and responsiveness, with analytical skills to prioritize and make fact-based decisions.
  • Skilled at negotiating mutually satisfactory resolutions.
  • Valid driver's license and willingness to travel as required.
