About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Provide coaching, client support, administrative, and technology support for Managed Learning Services team members
  • Oversee the process and administration of projects, including needs analysis, development, and implementation
  • Plan projects, develop and track budgets, serve as the main client and subject matter expert contact, and ensure deliverable quality
  • Support team members, clients, and stakeholders to execute programs on time, within budget, and to client quality expectations
  • Serve as a Learning Experience Design learning advisor and strategic consultant in client-facing programs
  • Centralize requests, manage team-member allocation, and provide execution visibility and updates
  • Validate workload estimations and ensure deliverables meet design and development quality standards
  • Ensure clients and subject matter experts review deliverables for approval
  • Upload deliverables to the LMS administration platform
  • Coordinate with Training Transformation and stakeholders on processes, procedures, metrics, and performance targets
  • Collaborate between Training Transformation and clients to craft learning strategies aligned with TELUS Digital and/or client business goals
  • Direct and support learning experience designers to ensure adherence to scoped projects
  • Approve dedicated-resource recruiting and onboarding efforts and monitor healthy program staffing ratios
  • Work with MLS leadership to provide development opportunities and build a talent pool for account growth
  • Coach and develop team members, provide feedback, document feedback in Workday, and address performance gaps with the MLS Manager
  • Approve job profiles, task outlines, and program-related administrative tasks
  • Handle escalations and ensure actions are taken to close performance gaps
  • Identify ways to provide and extract additional value from clients
  • Build alliances and partnerships with internal organizations and align learning solutions with competency frameworks, processes, and tools
  • Evaluate MLS-created program effectiveness and report behavioral, performance, ROI, and other impacts to leadership and clients
  • Track account and program profitability and ensure client KPIs, goals, and targets are met
  • Develop, implement, administer, and monitor Training Transformation policies, procedures, and practices; approve exceptions as appropriate
  • Act as the primary contact for MLS learning programs, ensure continuity of development, and deliver status updates to clients and MLS leadership
  • Perform other duties needed to support Training Transformation programs
  • Validate and approve team-member time tracking for accurate client invoicing

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • B2 English proficiency required
  • Advanced Google Apps for Work tools, including Google Drive, Google Calendar, and Gmail
  • Strong reporting and analysis skills, including flowcharts, daily attendance reports, and scorecards
  • Proficiency in Learning Experience Design tools and methodologies
  • Strong understanding of instructional design principles, adult learning theories, and training needs analysis (TNA)
  • Experience with LMS platforms, including administration, uploading, and managing content
  • Proficiency in effort estimation, project scoping, and workload management
  • Familiarity with e-learning authoring tools, including Articulate and G Suite
  • Proficiency in reporting tools and performance tracking, including Workday and dashboards
  • 2–3 years of experience in external client/stakeholder management required
  • 3–5 years of experience in Learning Experience Design, Instructional Design, or a related learning and development role required
  • 2–3 years of leadership, supervisory, or team lead experience desirable
  • Experience with LMS administration and content management platforms
  • Demonstrated experience in workforce planning, resource allocation, and talent management
  • Three years of experience required
  • Knowledge of leading practices in performance, coaching, change management, teaming, leadership development, and learning design
  • Detail-oriented, with a concern for quality and continuous program and process improvement
  • Demonstrated experience managing complex accounts or projects
  • Ability to handle sensitive information confidentially
  • Experience describing and documenting project or client requirements
  • Ability to communicate clearly and concisely across multiple levels within the company
