About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Identify and resolve mid to high complexity configuration issues throughout the client implementation/ongoing process.
Execute assigned tasks of Defect analysis, configuration, and unit testing.
Develop and execute Unit test plans, test cases, and test scripts.
Defect Fixes for Mid to High complexity – Forms & Letters | Web Config components.
Demonstrate Task level ownership for assigned work.
Participate in Ideas of process automation.
Timely communication to Lead and Onshore Counterpart.
Follow Standard Operating Procedure and leverage knowledgebase acquired during ILT and material available.
Adherence to Process Model.
Work alongside with senior members or individually (as required) to assist in smooth integration/transition of process.

Requirements

What you’ll need

6+ years of configuration experience in a similar role.
A bachelor's degree in computer science, information technology, or a related field is required for this role, and relevant industry certifications are often preferred.
Should have a strong foundation in software development principles and be comfortable with one or more programming languages such as Java, C, or C#
Preferred knowledge on Defined Benefits domain.
Should have clear understanding of unit testing, test case creation and execution.
Assisting in analyzing systems to identify configuration issues and recommending solutions to resolve them.
Writing basic SQL queries to extract data from large databases.
Basic knowledge of SDLC concepts.
Working Knowledge on MS Word, MS Excel and MS Access.
Effective communication skills (oral and written).
