About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Lead the implementation and ongoing enhancements of SAP Public Cloud OTC processes in the professional services industry.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including business stakeholders, technical teams, and consultants, to gather requirements, design solutions, perform system configuration and ensure successful delivery.
- Provide subject matter expertise on SAP Project Systems, subscription billing, pricing, solution and sales order management and revenue recognition areas.
- Analyze business processes, identify areas for improvement, and recommend solutions to optimize order-to-cash processes.
- Configure and customize the SAP Public Cloud OTC module to meet business requirements.
- Conduct system testing, support user acceptance testing, and facilitate smooth deployments.
- Provide guidance and support to the project team, ensuring adherence to project timelines and deliverables.
- Train end-users on SAP Public Cloud OTC processes and functionalities.
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to order-to-cash processes and system configurations.
- Stay up-to-date with industry best practices, trends, and advancements in SAP Public Cloud OTC functionality.
Requirements
What you’ll need- 7+ years of experience in SAP OTC functional roles, with a focus on order-to-cash processes.
- Strong functional knowledge and hands-on experience with SAP Project Systems, subscription billing, revenue recognition, contracts, sales and solution orders, pricing in a professional services industry context.
- Proven experience leading SAP OTC implementations and optimizations.
- Excellent understanding of business processes related to order-to-cash, including pricing, contracts, billing, and revenue recognition.
- Ability to gather requirements, design solutions, and configure the SAP Public Cloud OTC module.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze complex business scenarios and recommend effective solutions.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to effectively collaborate with stakeholders at various levels of the organization.
- Strong project management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks, meet deadlines, and deliver high-quality results.
- SAP certification(s) in relevant modules is preferred.
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (e.g., Business Administration, Information Technology) or equivalent experience.
