Key responsibilities & impact

Help protect Telstra’s employees and customers by detecting, responding to, and preventing cyber security threats
Lead incident response, threat analysis, and proactive threat hunting within the Security Operations Centre
Act as a trusted advisor, improve security standards, and mentor junior analysts
Assess security controls, manage risk, and support post-incident reviews
Contribute to security policies, compliance, and continuous improvement initiatives

Requirements

What you’ll need

Experienced cyber security professional with expertise in identifying and resolving security threats
Ability to communicate clearly with both technical and non-technical stakeholders
Must be an Australian citizen
Hold and maintain NV1 AGSVA security clearance and willing to obtain NV2 clearance
