About the role
- Lead the response to complex security incidents and improve response processes.
- Analyze threats and identify security gaps, recommending improvements.
- Produce and share clear, actionable threat intelligence.
- Proactively hunt for emerging and advanced threats.
- Work with business and vendors to implement security standards and solutions.
- Assess security controls, manage risk, and support post-incident reviews.
- Contribute to security policies and compliance initiatives.
- Provide expert advice on security frameworks and certifications.
- Support new security capabilities and customer onboarding.
- Mentor junior team members and stay current with new technologies.
Requirements
- Candidates must be Australian citizens to be considered for this role.
- NV1 AGSVA security clearance required and willingness to obtain NV2 clearance
- Experienced in cyber security and can quickly identify and resolve security threats.
- Ability to mentor junior analysts.
- Thorough communication with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
