About the role

  • Lead the response to complex security incidents and improve response processes.
  • Analyze threats and identify security gaps, recommending improvements.
  • Produce and share clear, actionable threat intelligence.
  • Proactively hunt for emerging and advanced threats.
  • Work with business and vendors to implement security standards and solutions.
  • Assess security controls, manage risk, and support post-incident reviews.
  • Contribute to security policies and compliance initiatives.
  • Provide expert advice on security frameworks and certifications.
  • Support new security capabilities and customer onboarding.
  • Mentor junior team members and stay current with new technologies.

Requirements

  • Candidates must be Australian citizens to be considered for this role.
  • NV1 AGSVA security clearance required and willingness to obtain NV2 clearance
  • Experienced in cyber security and can quickly identify and resolve security threats.
  • Ability to mentor junior analysts.
  • Thorough communication with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
