About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Support the planning, execution, and closure of projects aligned with strategic business plans
- Manage product development plans, including activity planning, budgets, schedules, resources, and milestones
- Maintain project management tools such as SmartSheet and ensure accurate schedules, risk assessments, RAID logs, and dashboards
- Serve as the key internal project contact and facilitate updates, decision documentation, follow-ups, and issue resolution
- Collaborate with clinical operations, regulatory, manufacturing, supply chain, quality, and other cross-functional teams
- Identify and manage project risks, mitigation actions, change submissions, and schedule impacts
- Develop, maintain, and report project schedule information and support corrective actions
- Track budgets, accruals, purchase orders, statements of work, invoices, vendor deliverables, and partner commitments
- Manage cross-functional reporting relationships and project data traceability
- Collaborate with department leadership to meet KPIs and lead complex programs aligned with organizational goals
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor’s degree or higher in science or life sciences
- Minimum 2+ years of pharmaceutical or biotechnology industry experience, including preclinical and clinical development products (Phase 1–3)
- Entry-level project management experience with multiple small projects or one complex project
- Expertise in at least one pharmaceutical drug development function: clinical operations, manufacturing development, regulatory, or non-clinical development
- Experience working as part of a cross-functional team
- Experience maintaining project management software solutions and tools
- Minimum 2+ years of project and financial management experience
- SmartSheet experience preferred
