About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Support the planning, execution, and closure of projects aligned with strategic business plans
Manage product development plans, including activity planning, budgets, schedules, resources, and milestones
Maintain project management tools such as SmartSheet and ensure accurate schedules, risk assessments, RAID logs, and dashboards
Serve as the key internal project contact and facilitate updates, decision documentation, follow-ups, and issue resolution
Collaborate with clinical operations, regulatory, manufacturing, supply chain, quality, and other cross-functional teams
Identify and manage project risks, mitigation actions, change submissions, and schedule impacts
Develop, maintain, and report project schedule information and support corrective actions
Track budgets, accruals, purchase orders, statements of work, invoices, vendor deliverables, and partner commitments
Manage cross-functional reporting relationships and project data traceability
Collaborate with department leadership to meet KPIs and lead complex programs aligned with organizational goals

Requirements

What you’ll need

Bachelor’s degree or higher in science or life sciences
Minimum 2+ years of pharmaceutical or biotechnology industry experience, including preclinical and clinical development products (Phase 1–3)
Entry-level project management experience with multiple small projects or one complex project
Expertise in at least one pharmaceutical drug development function: clinical operations, manufacturing development, regulatory, or non-clinical development
Experience working as part of a cross-functional team
Experience maintaining project management software solutions and tools
Minimum 2+ years of project and financial management experience
SmartSheet experience preferred
