own and evolve our streaming media pipelines, platforms, and tooling that power the Telia Play streaming service across the Nordics
Develop and operate high-availability, automated streaming infrastructure across Live, VOD, and time-shifted services
Create scalable DevOps workflows, observability capabilities, and tools that ensure reliability, security, and operational excellence end-to-end
Consult and collaborate with Product, Backend, Player, Network, and Security teams to drive technical strategy, best practices, and long-term architectural direction
Lead improvements within Dynamic Ad Insertion (DAI), DRM, acquisition, encoding, streaming, anti-piracy, cloud scalability, CDN performance, and distributed systems reliability

Requirements

Proven experience in streaming technologies, distributed systems, hardware, OS and cloud-native DevOps engineering (5+ years)
Strong knowledge of AWS, media services, DevOps toolchains, Dynamic Ad Insertion, DRM systems (Widevine, PlayReady, FairPlay), streaming protocols (HLS, DASH) and modern observability
Ability to balance strategic thinking with hands-on problem-solving, especially in high-traffic, event-driven environments
Fluency in English and comfort presenting complex technology clearly to both technical and non-technical audiences
