About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Plan, design and implement wired and wireless networks using tools from leading vendors such as Aruba, Cisco, Fortinet, etc.
Conduct site surveys, coverage analysis and AP capacity planning.
Configure and manage Layer 2 access switches and Layer 3 switches; configure and manage Fortinet firewalls.
Monitor the health and performance of wired and wireless networks, proactively identifying and resolving issues.
Perform firmware upgrades, patches and preventive maintenance on network equipment.
Implement and maintain robust wireless security policies, including authentication, authorization and accounting (AAA).
Configure and manage 802.1X authentication, captive portals and guest access.
Monitor and respond to security threats and vulnerabilities on wired and wireless networks.
Provide advanced technical support for incidents and issues related to wired and wireless networks, and document procedures, configurations and network policies.

Requirements

What you’ll need

Previous experience with Mobility Controllers, Access Points, NACs, Switches, LANs, VLANs, WLANs, Firewalls and Gateways.
Knowledge of network protocols including TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, and Wi‑Fi (802.11 a/b/g/n/ac/ax).
Advanced troubleshooting and network diagnostics skills.
Proven experience in designing, implementing and managing corporate wired and wireless networks.
