About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Develop and maintain a thorough understanding of corporate policies and purchasing processes to mitigate potential risks
Procure complex, specialized goods and services
Implement effective and compliant acquisition practices to achieve program and company objectives
Own contractual supply chain management functions for the assigned vendors
Perform supply chain risk assessments and undertake due diligence tasks
Collaborate with Legal department to draft and implement all contract templates
Monitor established supplier contracts through to completion
Identify risks and recommend mitigation strategies
Demonstrate effective financial stewardship through budget monitoring
Seek out continuous improvements to procurement related systems and processes
Establish, foster, and maintain good working relationships with suppliers and internal stakeholders

Requirements

What you’ll need

Bachelors university degree in a relevant discipline such as Commerce, Finance, or Engineering OR a college degree in Purchasing, Supply Chain Management, or Administration;
Three to five years experience working in supply chain or procurement, ideally in complex technology-based environment;
A professional designation in Procurement (e.g., CSCMP) is desirable but not mandatory;
Experience in the planning, developing, and maintaining of contract processes, contract drafting and negotiations.
