  • We are looking for an Intern, reporting to the Head, Financial Planning & Analysis based in Wisma Tune, Kuala Lumpur.
  • A DAY IN A LIFE
  • At Teleport, we’re building toward IPO — and that means doing the boring things well. Execution, discipline, and follow-through matter as much as big ideas.
  • Your day will be varied, often crossing functions, but most of your time will focus on delivering results, owning your scope end-to-end, making fast, data-informed decisions, and following through on fundamentals like reporting, documentation, and processes.
  • How we work matters as much as what we achieve. Doing the basics right, every time, sets us up for success.
  • Most of your time will be spent driving impact through:
  • - Assist in the preparation monthly management and financial reports for management and external stakeholders on a timely and accurate basis
  • - Assist in the preparation of yearly budgets for the Group
  • - Assist in analysing monthly budgets vs actuals
  • - Assist in preparation on monthly forecasts for the Group
  • - Assist in analysing monthly forecast vs actuals
  • - Assist in analysing trends, benchmarks and in-depth market research applicable to our business lines
  • - Asisst in analysing financial reconciliation data, identify gaps and recommend areas for improvement

Requirements

  • **These are minimum-requirement skills and a ‘must-have’ for the role: **
  • - Currently pursuing a degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field.
  • - Strong Excel skills, including **VLOOKUP**, **Pivot Tables**, and basic formulas.
  • - Comfortable preparing presentations and reports using PowerPoint.
  • - Eager to learn and take initiative.
  • - Strong communication skills.
  • - Able to work well in a team and handle multiple tasks.
