About the role
- Perform and assist the end-to-end execution of the day-to-day finance operations of the Company for accounts payable, cash flow and other finance-related transactions
- Ensure all trade and non-trade invoices are booked in accordance with the company’s SOP, followed by timely payments and proper AP ledger housekeeping
- Ensure compliance with accounting standards, regulations, and internal controls
- Support in addressing supplier queries, disputes, payment issues, and ad-hoc local requests when required
- Prepare weekly payment schedule and coordinate with Treasury on manual reserves and fund allocation for weekly and ad-hoc payments
- Ensure proper documentation for payment approvals
- Liaising and working closely with auditors, local finance and other stakeholders to ensure smooth process
- Assist and support in strengthening and improving accounts payable internal control and processes
- All other ad hoc work assigned as required from time to time
Requirements
- Candidate must possess at least a Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting / Finance or Professional Accountancy Qualification (eg ACCA/CPA Australia/MICPA)
- Problem solver and good in time management
- Ability to work under pressure & work in a tight timeline given
- Ability to work as a team with a collaborative management style
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel and Oracle
