About the role

  • You are a connector: persuasive in conversations and always one step ahead.
  • In our cluster structure you will become the central contact for our B2B clients – with a focus on MICE, corporate accounts and key accounts.
  • You actively shape the future of our sales organization.
  • New business acquisition in the B2B sector: from companies and event agencies to associations and institutions.
  • Management and expansion of key accounts, including annual contracts and long-term client retention.
  • Planning and execution of sales initiatives: roadshows, fam trips, trade fairs and networking events.
  • Strategic sales within the cluster: close coordination with Events, Revenue and Marketing.
  • Proposal and contract negotiations – from inquiry to closing.
  • Reactivation of inactive contacts through targeted measures and personal follow-up.
  • Market analysis and strategic input: you proactively contribute ideas to further develop our sales channels.
  • CRM and reporting: maintenance and analysis of your activities, KPIs and conversion rates.

Requirements

  • You have completed vocational training or a degree in hospitality, event management, tourism or sales.
  • You have at least 2–3 years of professional experience in B2B sales, ideally in the MICE segment.
  • You have worked in cluster or multi-property sales (or are aiming to move into that area).
  • You are confident in negotiations – regarding rates, framework agreements and bespoke offers.
  • Familiarity with CRM systems such as Salesforce or Opera Sales & Catering.
  • You speak German and English fluently – additional languages are a plus.
  • You understand revenue and yield management and can contribute from a sales perspective.
  • You work in a goal-oriented, independent and structured way.
  • You are a strong communicator and present yourself confidently and likeably.
  • You enjoy delighting customers and building long-term relationships.
  • You are willing to travel – for client visits, events and trade fairs.
  • You think entrepreneurially, act solution-focused and are hands-on.
  • You bring team spirit, resilience and discretion – even when working at pace.
