About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Responsible for driving revenue growth and expanding market share in the assigned geographic territory
- Oversee the development and execution of strategic sales plans
- Manage and coach a team of sales representatives
- Build strong relationships with key customers and partners
- Coordinate activities of Sales Representatives in assigned sales territories
- Monitor Sales Representative performance to Quota on a weekly, monthly, and annual format
- Develop and maintain key relationships with GPO affiliates and IDN networks
- Assist Sales Representatives in identifying sales opportunities
- Develop sales plans and strategies for individual territory activities
- Hire, train, and develop qualified Sales Representatives
- Maintain close key customer contacts to determine customer needs
- Assist with contract proposals and support Marketing Department activities
- Represent the Company at trade shows, exhibitions, and symposiums
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor's Degree
- 5-7 years of proven sales experience in related environment
- Sales management experience preferred
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- Valid Driver’s License
- Proficiency in MS Office to include Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook
- Ability to carry detail bag weighing up to 30 lbs.
- Ability to lift equipment weighing up to 30 lbs.
- Ability to stand or walk in numerous hospitals or at meetings for 6-10 hours per day, up to five (5) days per week.
