About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Responsible for driving revenue growth and expanding market share in the assigned geographic territory
  • Oversee the development and execution of strategic sales plans
  • Manage and coach a team of sales representatives
  • Build strong relationships with key customers and partners
  • Coordinate activities of Sales Representatives in assigned sales territories
  • Monitor Sales Representative performance to Quota on a weekly, monthly, and annual format
  • Develop and maintain key relationships with GPO affiliates and IDN networks
  • Assist Sales Representatives in identifying sales opportunities
  • Develop sales plans and strategies for individual territory activities
  • Hire, train, and develop qualified Sales Representatives
  • Maintain close key customer contacts to determine customer needs
  • Assist with contract proposals and support Marketing Department activities
  • Represent the Company at trade shows, exhibitions, and symposiums

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Bachelor's Degree
  • 5-7 years of proven sales experience in related environment
  • Sales management experience preferred
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Valid Driver’s License
  • Proficiency in MS Office to include Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook
  • Ability to carry detail bag weighing up to 30 lbs.
  • Ability to lift equipment weighing up to 30 lbs.
  • Ability to stand or walk in numerous hospitals or at meetings for 6-10 hours per day, up to five (5) days per week.
