About the role
- Provide day-to-day management of the assigned Airway Management product lines.
- Collaborate with Demand & Supply Planning, Manufacturing, and Sales to maintain high service levels through forecasting and supply planning.
- Develop and implement tactical plans to increase penetration and drive sales of existing products and drive portfolio management.
- Collaborate with cross-functional global teams on projects that improve cost, quality, product efficiencies, and profitability.
- Lead or participate in new product development and sustaining projects to bring new or improved products to market.
- Communicate effectively with Business Unit Leadership, Project teams, Marketing Leadership, Sales, and Sales Leadership members.
- Provide sales support such as sales materials, customer presentations, cross-references, information for Request for Proposals (RFPs), and customer communications.
- Develop content for core products and new product introductions, including market development, training, education, and sales/marketing collateral.
- Provide support to the Regulatory Affairs team on local product registrations.
- Perform other duties as assigned by immediate manager.
- Adhere to and ensure adherence to the Teleflex Code of Ethics, all Company policies, rules, procedures, and housekeeping standards.
- Field Visits with Sales Personnel based on monthly to quarterly field rides, as assigned by Marketing Manager.
- Completed Competencies for Product Portfolio and Clinical understanding of the Portfolio.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree required with areas of preference including marketing, biomedical engineering, business administration, or other similar degree areas.
- At least 3 years of experience in product management or project management.
- Comfort level in a medical environment, with demonstrated aptitude or prior experience with clinical terminology.
- Ability to work with colleagues to drive alignment on product line decisions
- Self-starter who knows how to approach the job and is passionate about the industry
- Ability to drive focus, prioritization, and effective time/project management
- Ambitious and action-oriented
- Computer skills in Windows, Excel, PowerPoint, and word processing are desirable. SAP experience is highly desirable. Strong Excel and PowerPoint skills preferred
- Ability to present his/her “case” in both formal presentations and in one-on-one interactions. Strong formal and informal communication skills
- Understand medical regulatory environment
- Unquestionable ethics and integrity
- Ability to work outside of normal hours as needed for global meetings
- Comfortable in clinical environments (operating room, etc.). Able to pass and maintain annual Vendor Credentials such that healthcare facilities allow entrance into patient care areas in direct association with marketing and selling of group's products
