About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Provide service and repair of Gas detection equipment and systems.
  • Perform on-site installation and commissioning.
  • Oversee any necessary diagnoses and troubleshooting.
  • Instruct customers in operation and maintenance of the system.
  • Serve as company liaison with customers on administrative and technical matters for assigned projects.
  • Interpret customers’ needs and clarify problem resolution responsibilities.
  • Plan and undertake routine service calls within defined territory.
  • Ensure maintenance of spares, consumables, and accessories in the company vehicle.
  • Control individual expenses and maintain company assets.
  • Ensure test equipment is calibrated and tested at defined intervals.
  • Provide weekly and monthly reports to Service Manager with call plans for following week.

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Fault finding skills.
  • Scheduling of work diary.
  • Computer literate.
  • Ability to read circuit diagrams and electrical drawings.
  • Work to RA / MS and “Permit To Work” Schemes.
  • Full Driving Licence.
