About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Direct teams of Technicians installing, maintaining, and repairing advanced military equipment
- Ensure high operational readiness and strict compliance with safety regulations
- Coordinate on-site services, managing logistical support, and handling complex customer issues
- Develop and execute field service and support strategies for Teledyne FLIR’s imaging systems worldwide
- Act as the primary liaison with military personnel, contractors, and end-users
- Monitor Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)
- Define and develop project plans and schedules
- Supervise and mentor Field Technicians
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor’s degree in engineering, business administration, or a related technical field preferred
- 7+ years of experience in field service management; experience in military communication systems, aerospace, or advanced electronics preferred
- Prior people leadership experience required.
- Proven ability in troubleshooting, team leadership, project planning and technical writing.
- Able and willing to travel approximately 20% - 30%, mostly domestic with some international travel.
- Applicants must be either a U.S. citizen, U.S. national, legal permanent resident, asylee, refugee or must be eligible to apply for and obtain the appropriate export control license from the U.S. Departments of State or Commerce.
