About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Establish and maintain the Project Charter and detailed project plan from kickoff through release-for-sale milestone.
Secure and negotiate resource allocation with line managers and Operations.
Lead project execution in line with the project constrains and defined objectives.
Continuously update project planning to ensure predictability in timelines, costs, and resource usage (labour, non-labour, CapEx).
Closely monitor project budgets and BoM costs.
Identify, track, and report cost deviations, ensuring corrective actions are implemented.
Maintain strong financial discipline across all project phases.
Provide weekly updates on project progress, risks, and performance at operations meetings.
Proactively flag and escalate deviations in schedule, cost, or scope based on Charter-defined criteria.
Initiate and manage Change-of-Scope (CoS) processes when required.
Act as the primary point of contact for stakeholders, including project teams, departments, resource managers, customers, and suppliers.
Lead and motivate project teams to achieve deliverables and milestones.
Identify bottlenecks and risks, contribute to solutions, and drive implementation.

Requirements

What you’ll need

Bachelor’s degree (BSc or higher) in Engineering, Electronics, Physics, or a closely related scientific discipline
Minimum 4+ years of experience in a Project Leader role
Knowledge of project management methodologies and tools
Ability to manage cross-functional teams and complex projects
Solid financial acumen (budgeting, cost tracking)
Strong communication and reporting skills
Strong people leadership and stakeholder management skills
Familiarity with ISO9001 quality systems and risk management principles
Fluency in English (written and spoken)
Dutch is a plus
Ability to operate independently (“self-steering”)
