About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Promote the complete Teledyne e2v Semiconductors product portfolio to existing and new prospects and projects
- Realize and track design-in and design-win targets
- Drive the identification and win of New Business Opportunities (NBOs)
- Handle first-level technical support with existing customers
- Identify new prospects, markets and applications
- Prepare technical sales collateral and train channel partners and customers
- Write and present technical papers at shows, conferences and webinars
- Actively promote the product portfolio with a solution-level value proposition
- Collaborate with Sales Managers, Channel Partners and Business Units’ marketing teams to identify NBOs and secure new design activities
- Monitor and track design-in and design-win opportunities against targets
- Maintain design-in dashboards and the NBO pipeline in CRM systems including C4 or Salesforce
- Collaborate with marketing teams on successful New Product Introduction sales campaigns
- Conduct product demonstrations for customer engineering teams
- Provide post-sales first-level support during system development and integration
- Feed technical inputs and customer requirements to Product Managers to influence product roadmaps
- Develop application notes, white papers and other technical sales collateral
- Present technical papers at targeted conferences and propose papers for regional publication
- Provide technical and application training to indirect channel partners and end-user customers
- Collaborate with sales teams to qualify channel partners and assign targets and KPIs
- Stay informed about industry knowledge and contribute to the learning environment
Requirements
What you’ll need- Degree level qualified in Science or Engineering
- Minimum of 3 years’ experience in engineering development, application engineering, technical sales support and customer interaction
- Application Engineering experience
- Experience working with microprocessors, data converters, and/or RF products is a plus
- Understanding of Aerospace & Defence, Test & Measurement, Industrial Testing and/or Telecommunication markets is a plus
- Listening, probing and analysis skills to capture and articulate VoM (Voice of the Market) and VoC (Voice of the Customer)
- Highly developed presentation skills to internal and external customers/stakeholders
- Ability to work across global territories within a multicultural environment
- Fully proficient in English
- Extensive travel throughout the region and regular travel to Teledyne global locations, particularly Teledyne e2v Semiconductors in Grenoble, France
