About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Designing professional software for the vehicle registration and licensing authorities
- Driving software development in terms of specifications, UI design and interaction concepts, as well as backend integration and interfaces
- Collaborating with Product Owners on the creation of functional concepts
- Implementing functional concepts as part of the team
- Developing JEE components for frontend and backend
- Applying modern development methods and tools
- Supporting customer service with 3rd-level issues and technical queries
Requirements
What you’ll need- Degree in (Business) Computer Science, Information Science, or a comparable qualification
- Knowledge and experience in developing complex Java systems
- Excellent analytical skills, a structured approach, and the ability to think systemically
- Experience working with agile methods such as Scrum and taking ownership of your ideas
- Strong technical, domain, and innovative thinking
- Strong communication skills
- Experienced user of Jira and Confluence
