About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Working as part of a care team for Teladoc Health Medical Group.
Provides best in class virtual patient care via video and telephonic appointments.
Order laboratory and radiology tests and refer patients to specialists when appropriate.
Be accessible to the Care Team to solve problems and keep the entire panel well cared for in a timely manner.
Analyze reports, test results, medical records and examinations to diagnose condition of patients and propose treatment options.
Prescribe pharmaceuticals, other medications and treatment regimens to treat identified and documented medical conditions.
Provide advice to patients for lifestyle and diet changes that may improve their health or help to treat the health issue they are experiencing.
Consistently meet or exceed clinical quality and patient care standards.
Maintain patient confidentiality and comply with all federal and state health information privacy laws.
Record complete, timely and legible medical records.

Requirements

What you’ll need

5+ years post-residency experience as a Primary Care Physician in a clinical setting.
Board certification in primary care or related field from successful completion of a residency at an accredited healthcare institution in Family Medicine or IM/Peds.
M.D. or D. O. degree from an accredited United States medical school.
Current State Medical Practitioner License.
No disciplinary actions within the last 5 years.
Drug Enforcement Agency (DEA) eligible.
Must reside in the United States and not require sponsorship.
At least 3 state MD licenses are required at time of hire.
