About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Manage and grow Teladoc Health's relationships with major insurance companies and health plan payers
- Build strategic relationships across account roles and areas of expertise, including executive-level personnel
- Expand Teladoc Health's reach within the account base through revenue growth, product expansion, and market development
- Prospect and identify new opportunities within the account base
- Develop quarterly reports using data to define Teladoc Health's value proposition for executive-level clients
- Develop an operating calendar, detailed account plan/forecast, and account planning/mapping process
- Collaborate with product, clinical, data science, implementation, reporting, legal, and finance teams
- Achieve revenue and margin goals within the allocated budget
- Manage issue resolution and customer satisfaction within the account base
- Monitor customer needs, market trends, industry challenges, major players, products, and technologies
Requirements
What you’ll need- 5+ years experience within the health plan payers space
- Proven track record of success with complex and strategic account management
- Experience transforming account productivity from volume-based to value-based results
- Strong interpersonal, relationship-building and listening skills
- Effective consultative style
- Ability to energize, communicate and build rapport at all organizational levels
- Strong project management skills
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
- Experience advising, presenting to and persuading senior corporate personnel
- Strong critical thinking and analytical skills
- Leadership experience and skill, with a vision for market development
- A Bachelor's degree (BS/BA)
- Proficiency with the Microsoft Office Suite
- Willingness to travel for work
- Currently authorized to work in the United States without visa sponsorship now or in the future
- Start-up experience desirable
- Technology and/or professional services experience a plus
- Master's degree in Public Health ideally, but not required
