About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Lead and mentor a team of engineers, providing technical guidance and career development support
- Foster a collaborative and inclusive team environment
- Own your team’s delivery, quality and timely execution
- Guide key technical decisions around new product initiatives
- Work closely with other departments, including product, design, and QA, to align engineering activities with company objectives
- Continuously evaluate and improve engineering processes and practices to enhance team efficiency and product quality
- Assist in recruiting, onboarding, and training new engineering team members
Requirements
What you’ll need- 7+ years in software development with at least 2 years of engineering leadership experience
- You have built and developed an impactful team of passionate engineers
- You are able to tackle sophisticated engineering problems that deliver results which help the team to achieve its objectives
- You’re passionate about being in a product-focused environment where everyone cares deeply about customer impact.
