Engineer – Building Services / Technical Building Equipment (TGA)

About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Take on project management responsibility for new-build projects with a focus on technical building equipment and building services engineering.
- Independently manage technical building equipment and building services projects on an engineering basis.
- Prepare project schedules, review their structure and consistently monitor compliance with all defined milestones.
- Write status reports on project progress and verify the factual accuracy of existing analyses and reports.
- Develop planning documents required for approvals, technical concepts, shop drawings and preliminary review documents.
- Review planning documents, building permit applications, approval documentation, specifications and tender documents for completeness and technical quality.
- Support site management during the commissioning phase and accompany the technical acceptance of systems.
- Coordinate technical matters with planners, assessors and contractors.
- Review change order proposals and project cost reports from technical and economic perspectives.
- Actively participate in acceptance procedures and factory acceptance tests and document the results.
- Attend work review sessions and project meetings.
Requirements
What you’ll need- Completed degree (Bachelor or Master) in Building Services Engineering, Building Technology or Energy Engineering, or completed vocational training as a technical system planner (building services) or as an HVAC/plumbing and ventilation mechanic (m/f/d).
- Several years of practical professional experience in technical building equipment or building services engineering.
- Several years of experience in project management and in planning technical projects.
- Confident knowledge of relevant technical standards and the ability to apply them.
- Confident presence and clear, structured communication with all project stakeholders.
- Routine use of common Office applications to produce analyses, reports and project documentation.
- Ideally, user experience with CAD software such as AutoCAD.
