About the role
- Lead the process engineering and mechanical/design planning of plant systems.
- Contribute to the preparation of process flow diagrams and to the conceptual design and planning of equipment layouts and piping layouts.
- Coordinate EMSR (electrical, instrumentation & control) and structural engineering disciplines in close collaboration with process engineering.
- Define technical scopes of work for customer proposals as well as for tenders to subcontractors and partner companies.
- Execute equipment layout, piping, and 3D model planning and ensure seamless coordination of these sub-areas.
- Take overall responsibility for the timely and quality-compliant execution of projects.
- Actively manage client interfaces and ensure continuous communication throughout the entire project lifecycle.
Requirements
- University degree in Process Engineering (Chemical Engineering) or Mechanical Engineering.
- Extensive experience and enthusiasm for plant engineering projects in the process and energy sectors.
- Enjoy leading and shaping technical projects and taking responsibility.
- Ideally between eight and fifteen years of professional experience in senior technical roles, such as Project Manager or Lead Engineer.
- Structured working style, solution-oriented thinking, and a high degree of initiative.
- Preferably experienced with site assignments and familiar with on-site requirements.
- Ideally solid knowledge across all project phases from Basic Engineering through Detail Engineering to procurement and construction/installation.
- Fluent in German and English, both written and spoken.
