About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Conduct and supervise forest inventories and field surveys in accordance with applicable standards
Validate, analyze and structure collected data
Perform digitization/vectorization and geospatial processing of data in GIS environments (ArcGIS, QGIS)
Write technical reports, produce maps and perform analyses that meet contractual requirements
Collaborate closely with internal teams to ensure compliance and quality of deliverables
Participate in the planning and organization of project-related activities
Contribute to continuous improvement of internal processes and methodologies

Requirements

What you’ll need

Bachelor's degree in forestry engineering or a related field
Active, in-good-standing member of the OIFQ (mandatory)
Proficiency with GIS tools (ArcGIS, ArcGIS Pro, QGIS) in a professional context
Excellent writing skills for producing technical documents
Proven ability to work independently in a remote/telework setting
Attention to detail, strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously
