About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Conduct and supervise forest inventories and field surveys in accordance with applicable standards
- Validate, analyze, and structure collected data
- Perform digitization/vectorization and geospatial data processing in GIS environments (ArcGIS, QGIS)
- Prepare technical reports, produce maps, and perform analyses that meet contractual requirements
- Work closely with internal teams to ensure compliance and quality of deliverables
- Participate in the planning and organization of project activities
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of internal processes and methodologies
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor’s degree in forestry engineering or a related field
- Active, in-good-standing member of the OIFQ (required)
- Proficiency with GIS tools (ArcGIS, ArcGIS Pro, QGIS) in a professional context
- Excellent writing skills for the production of technical documents
- Proven ability to work autonomously in a remote setting
- Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously
