About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Conduct and supervise forest inventories and field surveys in accordance with current standards
Validate, analyze and structure collected data
Perform digitization/vectorization and geospatial data processing in GIS environments (ArcGIS, ArcGIS Pro, QGIS)
Prepare technical reports, produce maps and carry out analyses that meet contractual requirements
Collaborate closely with internal teams to ensure compliance and quality of deliverables
Participate in planning and organizing project-related activities
Contribute to the continuous improvement of internal processes and methodologies

Requirements

What you’ll need

Bachelor's degree in forest engineering or a related field
Active, in-good-standing membership with the OIFQ (Order of Forest Engineers of Quebec) (required)
Professional proficiency with GIS tools: ArcGIS, ArcGIS Pro and QGIS
Excellent writing skills for producing technical documents
Proven ability to work independently in a remote setting
Strong attention to detail, organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously
