About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Conduct and oversee forest inventories and field surveys in accordance with current standards
Validate, analyze, and structure collected data
Perform digitization (vectorization) and geospatial data processing in GIS environments (ArcGIS, QGIS)
Prepare technical reports, produce maps, and carry out analyses that meet contractual requirements
Work closely with internal teams to ensure deliverable compliance and quality
Participate in the planning and organization of project-related activities
Contribute to the continuous improvement of internal processes and methodologies

Requirements

What you’ll need

Bachelor's degree in forestry engineering or a related field
Active, in‑good‑standing member of the OIFQ (Ordre des ingénieurs forestiers du Québec) — required
Proficiency with GIS tools (ArcGIS, ArcGIS Pro, QGIS) in a professional setting
Excellent writing skills for producing technical documentation
Proven ability to work independently in a remote work setting
Rigour, strong organizational skills, and the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously
