About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Perform vulnerability assessments on technology infrastructures;
- Identify, prioritize and track vulnerabilities according to their risk level;
- Manage remediation plans and follow up on security patches;
- Participate in monitoring the security posture of technology environments;
- Implement and maintain security dashboards and indicators;
- Produce reports for various stakeholders;
- Participate in automation activities related to vulnerability management;
- Collaborate with operations, infrastructure and cybersecurity teams;
- Conduct technology and security monitoring to stay up to date;
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of security processes and practices.
Requirements
What you’ll need- Hold a bachelor’s degree in a relevant field such as information technology, cybersecurity or software engineering;
- Have a minimum of three (3) years of experience in cybersecurity with a focus on vulnerability management;
- Experience with Tenable.io, Tenable.sc or OpenVAS;
- Proficient with Microsoft Sentinel for monitoring, event correlation and alerting;
- Experience producing security dashboards and reports;
- Experience in automating the prioritization and tracking of vulnerabilities;
- Comprehensive understanding of the vulnerability management lifecycle;
- Good knowledge of Azure and hybrid environments;
- Familiarity with frameworks and standards such as CIS Benchmarks, CVSS and MITRE ATT&CK;
- Solid knowledge of Windows and Linux systems;
- Knowledge of network security, firewalls, IDS/IPS and segmentation;
- General knowledge of application security;
- Proficiency in Python for automating cybersecurity-related tasks;
- Functional knowledge of English;
- Demonstrate strong analytical skills, organization and professional rigor.
