About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Contribute to the development of business and technology roadmaps
Support projects requiring new solutions and interface integration
Produce business and solution architecture plans that meet user needs
Participate in comparative evaluations of solutions and recommend strategic directions
Establish and maintain capability maps and their links to information systems
Identify and prioritize business capabilities to be evolved
Document business processes, value chains and key information
Support teams in their digital projects
Facilitate architecture meetings and present to stakeholders
Ensure alignment with internal teams and compliance with security and cybersecurity standards

Requirements

What you’ll need

Minimum ten (10) years of relevant experience in a technology environment, including at least five (5) years as a business architect or solution architect
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or a related field
Good knowledge of the healthcare and social services network and of complex information system environments
Architecture certification (ASAT, BAIS, BAIP, CBA, TOGAF) considered an asset
Knowledge of business and solution architecture methodologies and best practices
Experience with multiple platforms and technologies
Experience in or exposure to solution architecture definitions including cloud environments and cybersecurity considerations
Understanding of organizational issues and cross‑functional vision
Strong analytical and synthesis skills
Autonomy, rigor, professional ethics and commitment to quality work
Strong communication, writing and ability to explain technical concepts to non‑technical audiences
Ability to work in a multidisciplinary team
Knowledge of the following programs and systems:
Electronic Medical Record (EMR / DCI)
Digital Health Record (DSN – Epic)
Medical Image Viewer (MIV / VIM)
HRIS and Financial/Administrative Information Systems (SI‑RH and SI‑FA)
